SEPT is a private, outpatient orthopedic practice with ten locations throughout Western North Carolina. Founded in 2003, SEPT remains locally owned by physical therapists.  For more than two decades the SEPT brand has been a reliable presence in Buncombe County, Henderson County, and surrounding areas. SEPT offers orthopedic services with highly trained Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, and Occupational Therapist assistants as a part of their trusted team. The therapists offer individualized treatments based on each patient’s needs, while using the most up-to-date therapy techniques and equipment. The team at SEPT use their expertise to treat patients with Musculo-skeletal, vestibular, and neurological diagnoses. Job Overview & Work Site

The Marketing Liaison role is ideal for those who are outgoing, driven, enjoy collaborating with a team, and are comfortable communicating with the marketplace about the value that SEPT is bringing to patients in the local communities it serves. This role is responsible for building business relationships with medical providers, customers and community leaders affiliated with all Western NC therapy clinics under the SEPT Physical Therapy brand. This valued team member will establish an ongoing referral network that will support the growth of our ten outpatient clinic locations through patient referrals, while planning and instituting marketing campaigns to strengthen the awareness of the SEPT brand in the local markets it serves. 

This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and Business Development, ensuring close collaboration and alignment with the company's strategic goals. Our ideal candidate is excited about starting a career in marketing or sales. While previous experience in implementing a marketing/sales plan to maintain a customer base and grow referral relationships is encouraged, it is not required. We welcome individuals eager to learn and grow in this role. This candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, is driven by stretch goals, and takes initiative to get things done. The candidate must also be confident and persuasive in all interactions and discussions about SEPT Physical Therapy.

 

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supports and grows existing account base
  • Assists under-performing contracts to meet sales/visit targets by training, making sales calls and/or augmenting clinic marketing efforts as directed
  • Develops referral target strategies based on local referral trends
  • Owns the local instance of our CRM software platform, tracking activities and referral trends within this platform, and entering all daily sales activity
  • Works closely with the Direct-to-Consumer marketing team to establish cohesive marketing programs that impact both patients and referral sources
  • Collaborate with Clinical/Regional Directors to increase the scope of messaging to potential referral partners
  • Conducts weekly sales calls with the VP and bi-weekly with related team; focusing on establish target account lists and account development
  • Coordinates educational/community activity programs to promote clinic(s) and capabilities
  • Expands and develops essential leadership skills to meet immediate and future objectives
  • Seeks new customers, either within known accounts or new business found through prospecting or market data

License & Experience

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Career starter position
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally throughout various markets (must have reliable transportation)
  • Understanding of, and ability to use, analytics and sales management software solutions (I.e. Customer-Relationship-Management (CRM) platforms)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Word and Excel are required
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with people at various levels
  • Good problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • High level of personal integrity, reliability, and honesty
  • Self-starter and independent
